FABRIC SELECTION
At GB Bespoke, every exceptional garment begins with exceptional cloth. We source fabrics from world-renowned mills including Ariston, Vitale Barberis Canonico, Dormeuil, Scabal, Huddersfield Cloth, Drago and Marzoni. Our curated collection includes superfine wool, merino, worsted wool, linen, cotton, silk, cashmere, mohair, alpaca and luxury blends. We guide clients through cloth weight, weave, drape, breathability, wrinkle resistance and seasonality to ensure every garment is both elegant and practical.
PERSONAL CONSULTATION & MEASUREMENTS
Every commission begins with a detailed consultation. More than 30 measurements are taken alongside careful observation of posture, shoulder balance, stance and movement. This allows us to create a garment that feels natural and performs beautifully throughout the day.
HAND-DRAFTED PATTERN
Unlike made-to-measure garments, every GB Bespoke pattern is drafted by hand exclusively for the individual client. Each pattern is archived securely for future commissions, ensuring remarkable consistency while allowing refinements as your wardrobe evolves.
FITTINGS
Your garment is initially assembled with temporary basting stitches for bespoke fittings. These sessions allow every detail, from jacket balance and sleeve pitch to trouser break and collar fit, to be perfected before final construction. The result is a silhouette sculpted specifically for you.
PERSONALISATION
Every element may be tailored to your preferences, including lapels, pockets, canvassing, linings, buttons, monograms, embroidery and finishing details. Whether timeless British elegance or contemporary styling, every garment reflects your identity.
CRAFTSMANSHIP
Our garments are crafted using traditional tailoring methods including floating canvas construction, hand-padded lapels, hand-set collars, hand-finished buttonholes and meticulous hand pressing. These techniques provide superior comfort, longevity and graceful ageing.
